Something Wicca This Way Comics: Charmed Lives...

After 4 years since the spell was broken by the WB, the three bewitching Charmed Ones are back in town... with their new lives, husbands and children in tow! They are back to cast their spells on us and we can't stop asking for more...

Eighteen months succeeding the events of the series finale, Forever Charmed, the demons and warlocks return to try to achieve what countless others before them had never been able to do: defeat the Charmed Ones. No matter how powerful or cunning they were, they always had to bend to the will of the Charmed Ones and be blasted to hell!

So here they are now: Piper, reunited with her beloved Leo and mother to his three children while trying to open her much dreamt of restaurant; Phoebe blissfully married to Coop while juggling between her adorable daughter Prue and her Ask Phoebe! column while Paige, for her part, is now back with Henry and handling her twins and charges.

Freshly introduced are a demon and a warlock working hand in hand to reinstate the Underworld and defeat the Charmed Ones: Neena & Hogan. While this first issue focuses mainly on the Charmed Ones' new lives and the evil beings' plotting, there isn't really some butt-kicking action.

However, even though the sisters may not be fighting demons, magic still plays a large role in their daily lives, what with their pesky little magical children, the next generation of Halliwells, coming into their powers as witches, part-Whitelighters or part-Cupids! In addition to this, Paige has the added responsibility of tracking down future Whitelighters and helping them to shape and accept their destiny.

And as such, not a day in the lives of the Halliwell sisters is singularly dreary...

"Although we certainly had our struggles and heartaches over the years, we are a family of survivors and we will always be. Which is why we've truly been Charmed..." ~ Piper Halliwell, Forever Charmed
